With 30 years of experience in Latin America and Europe in the segment of aluminum rods and electrical cables, the ALUBAR GROUP started up its operations in Brazil in August 1998, with its first industrial plant - Alubar Metais - producing aluminum rod for electrical and steelworking applications.

In 2000, it opened its electrical conductors plant - Alubar Cabos -, thus beginning its production of bare aluminum and aluminum alloy cables, and, as of 2002, if started producing insulated (mutiplex) cables.

 In 2005, expanding its activities in the energy segment, the ALUBAR GROUP opened Alubar Energia to consolidate its business department of solutions for electricity transmission and distribution.

The ALUBAR GROUP is comprised of the following companies:

• ALUBAR METAIS, manufacturing aluminum rod for electrical and steelworking applications;

• ALUBAR CABOS, manufacturer of bare and XLPE/PE insulated aluminum and aluminum alloy conductors for electrical applications;

• ALUBAR ENERGIA, providing solutions for electricity transmission and distribution systems.

The Alubar Group is a Brazilian-based and Brazilian-owned company that values workers from the state of Pará.
