To seek and maintain continuous improvement of processes and products, guaranteeing full client satisfaction.
Alubar strives to provide the quality demanded by the international market, controlling its production through a state of the art quality laboratory, applying national and international standards and procedures, and guaranteeing a high level of quality.
Given a need to expedite its type tests and client approval processes, the Alubar Group invested in acquiring high-precision computerized mechanical testing equipment. With that, the company became one of only a few in Brazil with this control, technology available inside its own plant.
Quality control is performed in three distinct stages, from the raw materials (steel, aluminum and polymers), going through the process, to final product. Alubar's laboratory is comprised of:
- High-precision Kelvin bridges (used to measure very small resistances).
- A Kratos test bench for the complete cable;
- A complete laboratory for testing the 15 KV covered cable
- A chemical, mechanical and electrical analysis laboratory;
This perpetual concern with quality led the ALUBAR GROUP to procure ISO 9000 certification in December 1999, guaranteeing the compliance of its quality management system for aluminum and aluminum alloy rod production.
In 2008, the Group underwent a new audit under ISO 9001:2008 and the results proved the efficiency of its quality system.
